This property is definitely you get what you pay for. The heat didn’t work and they did come 24 hours later and fixed it which then only worked a short time again. No housekeeping for a 6 day stay at all! We asked for our room to be tidy and fresh towels but nothing. We had to go to desk for towels and toilet paper. Staff was super friendly but property is definitely “older”. It was relatively clean and had hot water. The ocean view was beautiful.we could hear everything from walking in the hallways and upstairs so walls are very thin. It seems to be in a safe neighborhood but not many restaurants close. I will not be staying at this property next year when we return for our college competition. It is definitely a bargain hotel.

Floor was dirty, mold on walls and floor, water damage stains, stain on towels. AC was cold but too noisy, so was the fridge with clunking noises all night long. Way too expensive for what they offer.

Immediately upon entering the room we smelled mold. Then we found the mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the ceiling itself was cracked and falling down. The microwave was filthy, like they havent cleaned it in months. Same with the oven. There was no hot water at all. The elevator was 2 years expired on its checks. I have the pictures to prove it.

I liked that it was beachfront. However, the elevator did not work and we were on the 4th floor. And the person below us was constantly smoking marijuana on the balcony and I told the front desk person multiple times. They said that they don't allow smoking, but they would not, to my knowledge, tell the person to stop smoking. The smoke would waft up into our room.

Pleasantly surprised for the bargain I got! The water tastes a little bit old but generally the rooms are old but clean, having a balcony for the oceanfront is great. Best deal you can probably get for an oceanfront stay at Daytona.

When we arrived it was late. The bed sheets were dirty, had to be changed. The only good was Kevin and the wonderful Women at checkout on Monday morning. We would of gotten a different place but everything was booked. The beds were uncomfortable. I thought I booked a partial view of the ocean because ocean view was booked. I received a parking lot view. The pool was freezing. Oh and there was no steps to the beach, and no warning either. Very dangerous. The good great hot water.

The ac didn’t work. Kept telling us that the maintenance guy had to turn it on. They did offer a different room but by the time we returned to the room we were too tired to move our stuff. Thankfully it was cool enough to sleep with the balcony door open. Just noisy since it was bike week.

This hotel was listed as a 7 of 10 stars. It was 1 of 10 at best. The stove, refrigerator and microwave have visible rust. The floor moldings were damaged and pulling away from the wall. The hairdryer did not work. The TV did not work. We did stop at the from desk to ask for a solution. The evening front desk person was polite and offered that she did not know how to fix it but, assured us it would be fixed the next day. It was never repaired. The bathroom had hair from previous guests in the tub and on the floor. This room has not had any renovations in many years. There was rust on anything metal. The pictures and description for this hotel are misleading. The outer bed linens some type of stains on them. And the floors were dirty. The chair and tables were falling apart and had exposed press board. It was not at all what we were expecting based on the rating and the amount that we paid for our two-night stay.
