Broken elevators and escalators. Alternate stairwell access was absolutely disgusting. Giant potholes in the self parking lot that charges $30/day. Restricted beach access due to “hurricane repairs” from last season. Overall, highly disappointed with this stay. The only positive was the experience with the staff at the front desk, valet and bell service.

Everything about this hotel sucked for the price paid . We stayed a less expensive better place 2 mins away… this Hilton charges you an extra at least $50 a night once you get there to supposedly use the pool pretty much . They call it a resort fee. It’s a rip off where do you pay for a crap carpet hotel on beach with no deck at all and they also charge to use the pool ? Not even motel 8 does that lol - they include no parking you pay $32 plus a day to park across the road (if you get a spot) or $42 for a valet service that blocks the ramp at all times … the elevators seemed unsafe and not working , everyone talked about it the way they shook and were ripped apart looking inside - no numbers worked properly pretty scary when you are 14th floor ! Carpets in rooms still ? No decks at all on ocean ??? Even a pool towel was extra charge lol … nothing was free .., construction all over … escalator didn’t work … not even free coffee or breakfast of any sort ( at least have Free lobby coffee if you want to rip ppl off by extra fees every single day without giving them any heads up) the staff were very friendly and I think they understood we were overcharged and felt sorry for us but couldn’t do anything .., one time in day we waited at elevators for over 15 mins and a group of 20 ppl and had to walk away as we wanted to drop off shopping bags to go back out to meet ppl for dinner but couldn’t get sn elevator to get to room ,so ridiculous I’ll never stay at a Hilton again. The hotel was really run down. We had been there for 2 days and did not received housekeeping services, in the third day we requested housekeeping multiple time but never received it. We had to call multiple time to at least get clean towels. The elevators kept breaking down and would take forever to go up or down. The staff for the most part were nice except for one night clerk that was very rude when we were trying to get clean towels after not getting housekeeping services. Overall it was the worst stay at a Hilton hotel

Property overall was fine and clean, just a few improvements needed. Elevators were terrible. In the south tower, on a holiday weekend, 2 out of 4 were working and full all the time. Took a half hour at one point to get to the lobby from the 15th floor. The stairs for beach access in front of the hotel need to be built and open. It is a fairly far walk to get down to the beach. The 5th floor pool in the north tower has a metal border to it that could burn someone pretty badly, so that didn't make much sense. And overall, rooms could be updated. Otherwise, staff was great and we still had a great time.

It was truly terrible from checking in, getting to my suite, checking out and the additional fees. There was only one elevator working for the north tower, was charged almost 200.00 for self parking which is not even on the property. Not enough staff to assist with checking in or out. Let’s just say that was my first time and last time with Hilton

It was terrible experience from the room, it was outdated, dirty, the hotel staff supervisor when asked for the correct view that I paid for she was upset and sounded annoyed to assist with the matter. There was only one elevator for the entire north side of the resort with only the up button having to ride up and down. We waited for 20-45 minutes to get to our room. It made us late to the wedding and the venue. It was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the future and would not come back again. My entire family that stayed at the hotel was highly disappointed in the service and lack of accommodation to the matter. They simply ignored the fact that there was an issue with the elevator. The tub leaked the entire night. No room service although requested upon check in. The only good this in this entire resort is the valet. They were amazing. Do not stay on the 5th floor sunset view. There is no view not even a building, it is simply the roof. Just terrible.

We have stayed here multiple times. It is definitely in need of some upgrades. The main thing is the lack of stairs getting to the beach. You have to walk FAR in either direction to get to the stairs, there are NONE In front. There used to be multiple sets, even after the hurricane damage. Also, the elevators are old and slow. Also shaky. The outside stairs did not seem safe to walk up alone. A security guard walked up with me. The bell staff (especially Chris) and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We will probably stay here again, but with the addition of stairs to the beach.

This Hilton is not worth the money! It starts with the awful parking and valet situation upon arrival, to the extremely long 30-90 minute wait times to use the elevators. Two days in a row people were stuck inside of them. We had to walk 12 flights of stairs several times. No staff could help, no one knew why. The room was dirty, walking from the bed to the bathroom my feet were black, I also found a large hair ball of brown hair (my husband is bald and I’m platinum blonde) in the bed sheets. In 4 days no one came to even empty our trash. We got two wash cloths and two bath towels for the entire stay. There is no convenient beach access. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.

Unsafe due to lack of elevator service. I had to (but I am able to) go UP the stairs to the 8th floor over 6 times in 3 days but others in our group like my mother couldn’t do that. She ended up checking out of the hotel early missing out on the family vacation. I was told that one elevator was being updated but two others were not working. The one that was “in order” shakes and made squeaking sound. For any hotel but specially a Hilton, this was not undesirable, it was unacceptable. There were lines on each floor and the lobby, at time would go out across the lobby. There was NO communication for the hotel or leadership physically available in the lobby for service recovery. I will NEVER stay here again.

Didn’t have the room available that we reserved, elevators were not working correctly & when security was needed they were not around, never cleaned our room even after requesting, the beach access was inconvenient, and the AC didn’t work properly. We will not be staying here again.

My check in was pleasant. Upon arrival the traffic to get into the hotel was hectic and out on the street. Check-in was pleasant with Tiffany. I appreciated the complimentary upgrade to an ocean front view room. I booked this hotel based on the reviews from multiple sites. The people leaving great reviews must be hooked by the hotel name and a loyal customer of the brand. After getting up to the room, I immediately checked when was the hotel built. The answer, 1989. This hotel has seen its days and is need of remodel. We were in the South Tower which is the first set of elevators. The hotel elevators aren't equipped to handle the traffic coming from the lobby. There was always either a long line (elevator capacity is 8 people). The elevators were always over capacity and they seemed to stop on random floors going up and down. Granted it was Memorial Day weekend, I would imagine this issue should have been ironed out over the years. Overall this hotel doesn't live up to the standards it portrays in the pictures. It's time that this hotel is upgraded. I expected an immaculately clean and luxurious experience. The room was small, there's either dust, dirt, or some proof of unkept area(s) in the room and property. It appeared there was an issue with the ac in the lobby. Theres not a walk out balcony. You can slide the window back and step out a little bit. The fridge in our room sat on the floor and had a compromised seal at the top. There's no microwave in the room.

There was a tribute band at the band shell right next door. Our non smoking room was on the third with the smoking balcony. Lots of people smoking right outside our door.

Having stayed the last 4 years on the same weekend this was the most horrible stay we have ever had here. The hotel was extreme dirty. Housekeeping was on an on call service instead of coming each day, and then when called they took 45 min to get to room to replace towels if anyone answered phone in department. The elevators were broken and for the amount of people staying that was difficult to take stairs to the 10ths floor! Will not be staying again

Spent more time in the hotel struggling to get to room or out the hotel because of elevators. Took anywhere from 30-45 minutes to the longest an hour waiting for an elevator with two children the smallest being 2 fussing each time waiting for elevators or being packed in elevators with no space. Was not able to use any hotel amenities

Only one elevator worked in the whole north tower. Had to stand on the line and wait anytime you want to use it. We stayed here last year on Memorial Day weekend and enjoyed it. However, this year our room had a bathtub that apparently has not been replaced since the hotel was built. It was unacceptable for Hilton standards. Room 554. And then there was the noise. There was a large group of family or friends that decided to have a party in the hallway. I called the front desk twice to have Security clear them out. The second time the young lady who answered the call was quite rude. In fact calling her lady would be a compliment. But that said on our departure, I shared these concerns and was reimbursed the resort fee. Just a real disappointment as I mentioned we actually chose to come back and stay at the same hotel again. That won’t happen again.

The property is close to everything, but the elevators all seemed run down and took forever. There were ants all downstairs but our room was clean. The bar prices were fair. The customer service was amazing. I just feel the room needed some upgrades. The parking was 40! For valet which to me is crazy. Miami is 25$.
