Needs a lot of work

Checking in was terrible!! The person at the front desk isn’t helpful. Needs more linens in room. No covered parking area for bikes. The room smelled of smoke.

Daytona Beach Resort

Although this resort was older, our studio condo was very clean and the custormer service reps were very helpful. I would suggest to have Kleenex in the residence. The view was beautiful and was a great place to stay for the Daytona 500.

DEAFENING JACKHAMMERING & CONSTRUCTION!!

We were so happy to arrive, but the hellish experience started early the next a.m.. You are awakened at 8am (not 8:01) with awful jackhammering, drilling into concrete, and hammering. This went on almost every day for our week there. We tried to get them to stop. Wrote VRBO, Vacasa, begged front desk, even went to the construction workers themselves. They laughed! I asked them to not laugh at me and they laughed again! This was taking place all over but often at the unit next-door (not outside but INSIDE the facility they were jackhammering, and just a foot away from our heads on the other side of the wall). So bright and early each day at 8am -- it woke us again. Ended about 4 PM and the only day off was the day hurricane Idalia came! Yippee! I had such an awful headache that even as a Naturopathic doctor I wound up taking pain relievers. + I took 12 soundbites of the awful noises and sent them to Vacasa (at their request) and they did absolutely nothing to refund us for part of the trip. We had to just stay away during the days and it was supposed to be a work trip where we took advantage of the views but used the Wi-Fi to meet deadlines. The whole trip was ruined. I told them if they didn't make this right that I would upload the soundbites. SO if you want to hear those you can contact me at Campsmith @ att . net. They'll say they can't control construction, but they SHOULD disclose this in description or issue refund. THAT THEY CAN DO (and still should for us). Will you?

what i liked was the view i had from the balcony. it was spacious. quiet. what i did not like but it was no a big issue was that it is a little out dated the rug and the curtains. but not an issue id love to rent it again
