This property is a complete fraud. Arrived at the property after an 8 hour drive from the snow to hopefully enjoy beautiful pools and grounds as advertised by the property. The pools were closed, the grounds were nothing but solid mud, infested with roaches so bad that when walking they would run across your feet. I asked for a refund when checking in because the property was nothing like advertised. I did not pay to look at mud and to have the pools closed. I asked for a manager and the girl at the front desk told me she didn’t want to bother him! He apparently wasn’t there and she did not want to call him. In my 25 years of traveling this is the absolute worst customer service and fraud of a property I have ever encountered. Not to mention the horrible smells of the room and the infestation of roaches.

The room was great, the view was excellent. Unfortunately, there are still areas under construction. The hottub could have been hotter, and 3 days in a row there were families with lots of kids who were jumping in the hottub, and the parents didn't say anything about it. Unfortunately, I don't even know whether they were the guests of the hotel. It will be nice to have bracelets for guests. The receptionists were always friendly and great. Overall impression, it is a great hotel for people who do not plan to spend time at the hotel during the day.

Called ahead and was told hot tub worked yet did not, Luke warm like kid bath and vip gold is supposed to get free drink for two yet was not free was $5 off yet minimum drink price is $9. Told staff of concerns and they were rude and not acknowledging it and Expedia believed them. Also construction going on so woke up early on a Sunday to pounding outside window yet they claim not full construction yet walkways closed and buildings closed and hazards. Bar is also not like pictured rather run down just as the property is so false advertising. On the beach but only one access open due to construction yet still taped off around it so confusing. Donuts were good and actually free as stated yet only set times in morning. Not worth the $150 night as paid $50 more for hot tub that didn’t work yet they swear did. Stay elsewhere

Very disappointed in the amenities available. Everything was under construction and there was no outside seating to enjoy the view. The hot tub had brown water, pool was closed. The tiki hut was a big disappointment, extremely dirty with black mold on the counter tops and limited selection.

The property is in disrepair and they say tthey are in the middle of a re-beautification project. It has been on-going since January. We booked our stay in March 2024 and were never notified prior to checkin of these plans. Our expensive cottage was surrounded by mud with no clear or stable walk way. Many of the amenities are unusable. The outdoor pools have broken railings around them, so the indoor pool is crowded. There were many unsafe conditions. The inside of the cottage looked cute, however there was black mold under the sink and in the shower. The house phone does not work, the doors don't properly close so you cannot engage the deadbolt and the area outside the cottage is not well lit,add in the uneven ground and it caused extremely unsafe conditions Management was apathetic to our plethora of issues.

I didn’t know the pool and grounds would be under construction for my stay, so that kind of killed the beach vibes. It was my first time to Daytona so I didn’t know what to expect. Overall it was nice and the staff is friendly, but the area was kind of mixed and honestly it’s not a beach destination I would choose if there wasn’t a race weekend.

I am dissatisfied with my stay because the bar closes early. It should be open until 10 pm, so when you return to the resort, you can't relax with a glass of wine. I don't recommend this hotel because when it's slow they don't care about the guests

We have stayed here for a long time when attending the Rolex 24. The property consistently has improved each year. It's on the beach and VERY easy to get to the Speedway. We intend on staying here again next year.

Beware! While our room was as described and clean, the hotel and amenities were not… Pros: 1) Tasty, homemade donuts for breakfast 2) Great view of the ocean from the room 3) Nice updated room 4) Nice indoor pool area and heated pool (although dirty hot tub) 5) Friendly bartender at Tiki Hut Cons: 1) ***The outside of the hotel was devastated by a hurricane which is not the hotel’s fault, and it did appear they were working on repairs. However, the pictures advertised of any outside amenities is non existent. We had planned to spend the day relaxing and enjoying those amenities, but there was no mention of the outside pool, shuffleboard, lounge areas, golf, lawn play area, etc being unavailable. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they said we could check out and leave if we wanted to, but no partial refund. Expedia did give us a small credit for future use because the hotel refused. We had to find other activities which cost additional money to keep our kids entertained. This may not bother some, but we didn’t like the lack of transparency and the bait and switch tactic. 2) Parking was not ideal as it was tight spaces and not enough spots, and the parking area did not always feel safe. There was overflow parking across the road which didn’t feel like a safe area to park either. 3) While our room was clean and updated, the hallways and area around the hotel were run down and dirty. 4) Staff were hit or miss. Some were friendly, but some ignored us.
