I loved that there was enough space for my three children and I. They had a blast. The location is perfect. There is a super market and gas station across the street as well as an IHOP. The beach access is immaculate. The room was clean and well stocked. Staff was nice.

Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The location rocks. Our stay was very quiet and peaceful. The tiki bar had incredible drinks that were fairly priced. The fresh donuts in the morning were a nice touch.

Property was in poor condition. There was a broken towel bar upon my arrival. The rooms could use major updating. The pictures online are completely misleading. We stayed on night and ended up with bed bugs. We called management to alert them to the issue and they said we must have gotten it somewhere else. They also said they wouldn’t check the room until the current guest checks out because they didn’t want to invade their privacy. The manager is extremely hostile when dealing with concerns.

I was not told ahead of time about only being able to have one vehicle per room. Normally I have bought a parking pass for $10. This time they didn’t allow any extra vehicles so I had to pay $40 altogether to park my vehicle at the ocean center which was a good distance away.

Advertised wrong. This property has been under construction. There are no tables out. Limited plastic chairs around close to buildings is only place to sit as everything is under construction. No shuffle board, no putting green, no grills and only one way down to the beach. I called as we were there the year before and they were under construction. I get a hurricane and we stayed as I grew up going there. I was told the construction was complete. It definitely was not. You can use the pools outside BUT parts of the pool area is closed and chair area was taped off. They were redoing all the grounds, walkways, etc. I get that it has to be done but don’t lie to people and get upset when we want to leave and want our money back. Also, both years our room was on 4th floor north building (best rooms and perfect floor for sights) and the elevator was down. Walking up luggage was bad. Down means down for a day or two. The tiki bar is so cool, small and bartender is great! Of course the spot on the beach is awesome, especially for families that want quiet. Just is not the same from years passed. Hopefully they get this place back up and running and beautiful again. It was such a treasured Gem back in the day! Oh! And the donuts are the best in town!!! Always a kid fav.
