“House was clean. Nice location on the lake. We did catch nice brim there. Parking was a little confusing for me but we figured it out. I don’t think anyone was actually staying at the neighbors house but someone would come there to fish and parked there. He was nice, never gave us any issues. The dock and boat ramp is shared. Wish the rest of our go up could have made it but we still had a great time!”

“Mr Steele was great as a host. He made sure he accommodated everything we needed for our stay. Definitely a great getaway location. Many things to do on property to be entertained. Definitely booking again when I’m in town.”

“We needed a safe place to stay to attend multiple work related meeting in the area. Central location, easy to get to. If you have heavy luggage, this room is up several flight of stairs. Not a problem, just be ready for that. Slept well on the twin bed in the main room. It was COLD when we were there, and the heater worked so well. we were very comfortable. Nice hot water in the shower, but not in the bathroom sink, but that was not a big deal. This was a nice affordable, safe, place to stay.……

“We stayed here over a weekend with our family of seven. Overall, it was a good stay — the house was clean, in a great location, and the neighborhood felt safe. The hosts did provide some paper towels and toilet paper, but it wasn’t enough to last our group for the weekend. You’ll want to bring extra along with essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, coffee, coffee filters, and creamer. The house could also use a little maintenance, as there were missing light bulbs and a few small……

“It was easy to get to beautiful house the host was very nice to deal with. Only complaint was the steps from the drive way to upstairs very steep. If you have elderly people visiting use front door access only. The shower door in the master is missing a piece so water goes everywhere. “4 former football players were in for the Jaxville St. and WKU conference USA game. Easy entry to the house, close to the university and stadium, clean and efficient. Enjoyed our time other than the loss of the game. ”

“Love that this location is a historical site—which now makes sense of the layout. My only downside of the stay is only twin beds but could easily sleep 8. Was there on weekend and next to bars so got a little loud at night. Owner was great and very responsive. Place was stocked well with all the necessities! ”

“I cannot say enough about this beautiful lake house place. The view of the lake is absolutely gorgeous, and the house was spotless clean! We took two of our grandsons on a weekend trip to the lake. We were not expecting kayaks to be included with the rental. This really made our trip extra special. The owner lives next door, and was very quick to answer any questions that we had. We are definitely planning on coming back as often as we can~”
