“We recently stayed here for our small wedding ceremony and wedding night, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The grounds were gorgeous, the location was peaceful, and we got stunning photos on the balcony and out on the lawn — it really is a special setting with a lot of charm and potential.That said, we did run into several maintenance and readiness issues that impacted our experience. A few amenities were not as expected or in working order, and the house didn’t feel fully……

“Beautiful home and location. Quiet, excellent place to get away for a weekend. Our only complaint is that there was no hot water for two of the three days we were there. We notified the owner the first night of our stay, and rather than just believing us when we told them there was no hot water and sending someone as soon as they could, they asked us to continuously keep checking to see if it was working and seemed to think the problem must be us rather than an issue with their water heater.……

“This is our favorite place to stay. We stayed here at spring break and again again over the past weekend and will be going back for the fourth!! The staff is like family the villas are immaculate. Be sure and do a tour and feed the animals. It was an incredible experience for our family.. The bonfire on Saturday was just an added touch and the property is relaxing, and the views are beautiful from the Tanya arrive at the front gate to the front porch view . The pool was a big hit with everyone, and having the kayaks available added an extra layer of fun and adventure. The amenities were spot on—everything we needed was right there, which made our stay so easy and relaxing. The location was ideal, close to everything yet peaceful and private. “The property was great. Location was great. So close to lots to enjoy in Glen Rose. The trailer was charming & well-decorated. However, the seating was a little uncomfortable and the beds were hard (especially the bottom bunk) and the shower was so small, but it was to be expected considering the size and age of the trailer. We especially enjoyed the outside seating and enjoying the nature. All in all, we had a great time.”

“Agave House was just what we needed. Life is so busy and it is easy to let the days go by and miss what's most important.Agave House allowed us to hit the pause button and reconnect. We had a great time enjoying the outside deck while the kids explored the canals in the kayaks.The kitchen met all our needs from coffee time to late night snacking.The house is beautiful and was a relaxing escape from the big city rush. We played games, watched movies, and slept so well. Definitely recommend.”
