“I felt I had an entire house to myself. Just beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and private. Morning scones were a treat. I just wasn’t sure which entrance to use. Loved the red poppies. I went home and preferred some for my garden. ”

“We stayed as an extended family. Half the family was from the area. The owner was super nice and helped us get in a little bit earlier as we had been stuck in airports for 36 hours prior. The youngest enjoyed the fishing and the extra toys that were available. This spot on the lake is one of the best for fishing and for the kids to swimThe dryer did break down and the owners had a new one out the next morning on a holiday weekend. You can't ask for more. Will defiantly stay here again. ”

“This was the perfect property and location for our annual "girls" weekend (three of us all over the age of 55). This is such a lovely area, especially for someone who loves nature and wants an opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet. The house is beautiful, decorated with a plethora of African art. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful! We were provided with homemade bread, a bottle of wine, and many other extras. Fantastic communication and easy check-in/check-out. We had a wonderful time! “A well maintained and amenity abundant property. Clean nicely decorated. Ample games in basement game room, and stacks of board games. Listing states sleeps 8, but take into account the 8 figure has 2 people in a full sized bed, with an additional queen, king, and 2 twins. Would bring own propane for grill and heater lamp, bottles were empty. Due to storm power went out, but property manager was easy to contact and very responsive. If staying in this area again, I will look for this property……

The Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex is only a short distance away for those who have baseball players and for those looking for some fun, try Shipwreck Golf (has both indoor and outdoor mini golf) which was fun for all ages.
