Luxurious Cedar Vacation Lodge in the beautiful Black Hills. The Cedar lodge sits on 4 acres of land, and has a running stream running right by your home, with catch and release trout in the pond in your yard. Games such as crochet and a bean bags are provided for your enjoyment. Relax on the deck and be amazed at the magnificent scenic views. The home has 5 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. There are 3 full bathrooms, fireplace, foosball table, jet spray tub, and an outdoor hot tub. The Cedar Home is fully furnished with all the comforts of home. The large deck has a roof overhead, so you can enjoy the deck in any time of weather. National Forestland is right out your back door, with trails for snowmobiling or 4-wheeling or hiking. Deer, wild turkeys, and chipmunks are abundant!
The Cedar Home is the perfect place to get together with family and friends, enjoy quiet privacy, the mountains, the night sky and stars, and the smell of pine!

Snowmobile or 4-wheel right from your yard! 15 min. from Deadwood, and near many attractions such as Mount Rushmore, lakes, fishing, several golf courses, skiing, snowmobiling, biking, hiking and more. The Cedar house is modern, spacious, and completely furnished for your comfort.

Sturgis Trip Cabin in Lead, SD

Wonderful. Awesome property. View was tremendous. Peaceful location. Centrally located location to ride and experience the beauty of surrounding towns and monuments. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely rent again.

Yearly Family Vacation

This property is lovely, it features an amazing covered porch out front with a stunning view of the Hills. We did have an issue while there, the hot water heater quit, so no hot water for showering, dishes or laundry. We had 10 people there and the temperature that day was just shy of 100 degrees, so no shower was not a welcome surprise. The owner was responsive and had it repaired within 24 hours. Would recommend this site for any group, little stream and small pond with rainbow trout for catch and release, was a highlight for the young children. Beautiful setting and great star gazing at night.

Amazing Property

The pictures to this property do not do it any justice. It’s actually a really good size and space. The pond right out of the house was awesome, the kiddos named the biggest trout Walter. Two of us had him on the line but couldn’t get him in, shook the hook out. There’s a trail just right to the South of the house which was pretty cool. Definitely would stay again! The whole family had fun!! Thank you for the experience!!

Great Stay in the Black Hills

We had an excellent time here. Nice place, comfortable, good location. Our 5 year old grand-shildren expecially liked being able to feed the fish. One thing to note -- the VRBO listing shows the location off highway 85, southwest of Cheyenne Crossing in Spearfish Canyon. It is not in the canyon, it is off N Rochford Road. Still a great location.

Labor Day Weekend Trip 2023

The main issue we had was the water out of the faucets smelled awful. I contacted the owner and was informed that a new filter had been installed and water needed to be run through. We were told to let the water from the hose outside run and after a day or so the smell was better. The coffee pot had a crack and the first pot of coffee went all over the counter and there was no replacement carafe. There was no horseshoe pit that was listed as an amenity. We loved the location and the beauty that surrounded us. The kids thoroughly enjoyed feeding/fishing for trout and the deer and turkeys that wandered through. The upstairs was warm at night with no air conditioning/air circulation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Getaway but Close to Everything

We stayed during Sturgis 2023. Five couples. Plenty of space vehicles, trailers and 5 Harleys. The property was a wonderful base location for day rides, close enough to town for shopping. House was stocked with essentials needed to get started. We made breakfast every morning before heading out and had drinks on the covered porch at night (plenty of outdoor seating). Enjoyed some foosball tournaments and the hot tub, although it was missing some jets and seemed to run loudly constantly (this could've have been operator error). Coffee pot ran slow for 10 people but we found a carafe that kept the first pot hot while we started the second. Would rent again and would recommend to friends.

Beautiful spot

Quiet, lovely house and setting. Liked the layout very much. Would have liked the dining table to have seating for up to 10 (seats 6, with 4 stools at kitchen counter). And the hot tub is set at a temp that is too low. (If you turn up the heat you lose your security deposit).

Beautiful Property and Locations

Our 3 day stay with our kids and grandkids was great. The property was beautiful, the view. was amazing. There was plenty of space for everyone, and we loved not having neighbors, next door. We will definitely visit again.

Family Vacation

The property was wonderful, easy to get to, quiet and peaceful. Could use a little updating, especially in the bathrooms. Don't expect alot of air conditioning, you will have to open doors and windows. Restaurants close at 9pm and that was a little inconvenient. Little bit of an ant problem in the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. Overall, it was a great week with family and we enjoyed the stay.

Cedar Cabin

We loved staying at this cabin. It was so nice and roomy.. We had 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The trout pond was wonderful. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck watching Mr. Goose. Our only recommendation is for a stronger wifi connection. My son was trying to do homework and the connection was not the best. We realize that vacations are not for work, but it would be nice to be able to do both if needed.

Beautiful Setting

This property was perfect fir our group of 10 adults. We were in the area to go ATV riding in the hills over Memorial Day weekend. This property was ideal. We rode right out of there every day. This property was clean, set-up well and the owners were fantastic to work with. We will be back!!
