Brand new private upstairs garage studio apartment 5 min from downtown Deadwood. Stunning mountain views, bordered by Black Hills National Forest; close to Friendship Tower, Sturgis, Mt. Rushmore, Spearfish, Rapid City and all the Black Hills has to offer. Can accommodate 5 (1 bunk bed, 1 queen bed), shower, washer, dryer, internet, Dish TV, kitchen with gas range, microwave, dishwasher, free standing gas stove for chilly nights, one car garage parking available, access to Jacuzzi, gas grill, Wild turkeys, big horn sheep and deer are frequent visitors. Great place to stay

Paul and Joanne were absolutely amazing. They were extremely welcoming and hospitable. They live on the property and the rental is an apartment above their garage that is extremely well maintained. Their property is breathtaking and they have free range chickens and horses, even a mini horse! My 10 year old daughter and I stayed there with our dog and they were so accommodating. They were very nice to both my daughter and my dog. Joanne took my daughter to meet the horses and chickens and she absolutely loved it. They both really went above and beyond. It felt like we were staying with family. There was a hot tub and sauna that we used every night. This is an excellent b&b to stay at.

Favorite Thanksgiving Tradition

My husband and I just spent our second Thanksgiving at this super cozy little place, and we will be back for sure! The owners are excellent at communication and are very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic and convenient.. close enough to enjoy Deadwood but also quite scenic, secluded and quiet which is perfect! It's very clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is brand new and the sauna is amazing as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfy place to stay with all the things Deadwood has to offer just minutes away.

Absolutely amazing!

Great Property

Paul and Mary are the ultimate hosts! Great amenities, ample parking, sparkling, beautiful Black Hills property. The garage condo is comfortable, clean and convenient. Property is nicely situated between Deadwood and Spearfish.I plan on staying again next year. No brainer!

This property was everything we could have asked for. It was small and cozy and was the perfect mountain cabin feel. The property has all the dishes and appliances you need even Ice!! We loved the grill and the hot tub. Property owner was super good at communicating and dispensed when we needed something!

A nice place to stay

This property was all we had hoped it would be. Secluded from the fast pace of everyday life. Upon meeting the owner he was to the point about explaining how all the amenities worked and then left us be to ourselves which is something we were leary of with an on-site owner but was not the case,we werent bothered at all. The place is very well taken care of with lots of wildlife around. We were very happy with our choice.

Wonderful place!

The property is wonderful. Clean and tidy, both inside and out. Inside you have every convenience you need. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, satellite TV, and a nice kitchen.The outside is 10 acres with a pretty view and only the owners for neighbors! The owners are friendly and can be found daily doing chores or working in the garden. If asked they'll happily offer suggestions for places to eat, or areas of interest for sightseeing. If your an early riser like me, you'll enjoy sitting outside, sipping coffee and watching the sun rise over the hills. Literally picture perfect. Much better than any hotel or being surrounded by block after block of cookie cutter rental houses! And no mosquitoes!

A delightful stay!

My mother and I absolutely loved our time here! Spearfish, Lead, and Deadwood are within close proximity, and while Devil's Tower is further away, it is an easy, beautiful drive via SD 34/WY 24. The large bathroom provides easy access to laundry machines. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking and eating equipment. All accommodations are very clean, and the property is gorgeous! The owners are delightful and very knowledgeable about the area. Their horses, dog, and chickens are wonderful, too! We definitely would stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Mountain Getaway

Beautiful area perfectly situated in the mountains, but minutes away from restaurants and hiking trails. I brought my dog and we enjoyed waking up and hiking to the peak of several hills in the area to watch the sunrise, then jumping on the Mickelson or Homestake trails in the afternoons. Property owners are very kind and accomodating, apartment is cozy, clean, and has everything you need for a 1-night or 1-month stay.

Perfect Black Hills Getaway

This place was really cozy and accommodating. Super close to Deadwood. It added so much to the Deadwood experience. Wildlife right when we walked out side in the mornings. Hosts were so friendly! Would stay here again.

Hidden Gem!

My husband and I stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and absolutely LOVED this place! It's so quiet and cozy and the wildlife was fantastic! We arrived and immediately saw the yard full of wild bighorn sheep, which was surprising and very cool! The chickens and little friendly dog were a plus as well! Paul met us right away and showed us around the property, which was beautiful. The apartment is super cozy and very, very clean. He also had all of the necessary things to cook our own meals and completely make ourselves at home. The hot tub and sauna were awesome amenities that we enjoyed as well. The location is very close and convenient to get to Deadwood and all the activities the area has to offer and yet is very secluded and quiet. We will definitely be back!
