Enjoyed morning coffee and hot chocolate on the deck by the Bay, with three different seating areas to choose from. We had great weather all week and the cottage was centrally located near all the places we wanted to visit. Yi was the perfect host; great communication in advance of our arrival and she checked in with us a few times during our stay to make sure we had……

The road onto the island, with it's twists, turns and one-lane bridge, adds to the charm. The property provides a sense of isolation but neighbours are nearby if needed. “November 8th - November 13th There are not enough words to describe this property!! The amount of care that is put into everything is amazing. Beth has thought of EVERYTHING you could need...just when you think "Hmm, she probably doesn't have that..." just open a drawer, and there's a great chance you'll find it! The cottage was sparkling clean, the location/view was exactly as shown in the pics, it's phenomenal. We stayed there for 5 nights and I think we had the best sleep we've had in years!……

“You could not ask for a better host than Claire! She was so kind to us during our stay. The house was just as described and the perfect place for us to stay for our 30th anniversary trip to Nova Scotia. The views were amazing, the beds were so comfortable and we enjoyed the cozy fire. The deck was the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Nearby Polly's Cove is a beautiful hike. We highly recommend this property!”

“The place is new, clean and comfortable. The weather was not great for our stay but it was early April and sun and warmth was not expected. We used it mainly as a base for visiting our daughter who lives in the lunenburg area and it was good for that. We did not use the kitchen much but it could use a few more utensils. Also there was not much in the way of cleaning materials to keep the place clean or to clean up any spills. Fortunately that didn’t happen for us.”

“Beautiful lake view, quiet private space, and comfortable bed. Be aware there are quite a few stairs down to the cabin so you will get your exercise carrying your luggage and supplies 😂”
