“The host, in the "about this property" says, "if you don't like dust, this isn't the property for you". Dell City and the surrounding area is indeed dusty, but we absolutely relished our time there. The property was perfect for our group of four; it was quite roomy and comfortable; it was well furnished and supplied; it was fun with its West Texas decor and outside picnic table; and there is no closer location if the goal (as was ours) is spending time in Guadalupe Mountains National Park. ……

“Nice cabin, we arrived in cold weather, 19 degrees, it took a while for the cabin to warm up. Nicely appointed and had just about everything we needed. A little longer than anticipated driving down from Cloudcroft, but we had a beautiful drive back up with frost on the pines the next morning. It was fun meeting the host and locals at the High Country Bar & Grill, good food, friendly people. ”
