The walls of this property were absolutely paper thin, to the point where you could hear someone clearing their throat in the next room over or conversations at a normal volume. This was way past just a loud neighbor as we could even hear the cleaning woman cleaning next door during the day. We cut short our stay early as we couldn’t stand it and were hardly sleeping at night. The thin walls and inability to get any sleep ruined our trip. We asked to change rooms or the ability to leave and get a refund after the second night and the man at the desk said there’s so many kids checked in that it’s unlikely a new room would be any better and that we would not get any money reimbursed if we left early. Again I would like to emphasize, this was way past just a loud child next door.
After this experience we went back and read more reviews and it appears others had these concerns however there was no mention from the staff that this was a problem they were aware of.
After another sleepless night we checked out and left a day early, cutting our vacation a day short. At checkout(which was within the normal check out window for the property) the man at the desk did not even acknowledge in any way we were checking out early or even apologize for the experience.
I was extremely disappointed in both the state of this property and the quality of the customer service. I will never again return to this property or any property managed by the Lark group after this terrible experience.
