“Parking was convenient even for our F-350. Plenty of room for folks to spread out in the living area and kitchen. Upstairs suite would be a PLUS PLUS for family gatherings as you have privacy in your own sitting area, etc up there. Would not recommend for someone with climbing issues/knees/hips etc as steps go up to the main floor and then lots of steps to top suite. But we are in our mid 70s and did NOT have any issues of same. Recommend this VRBO, we do. ”

“Enjoyed our stay at Castaway Cottage. The back deck was our favorite and we stayed out there alot with all the rain we had. Inside is as described. Stairs to water and dock as described. We had about 9 feet of water off the front of the dock. Water silty and some log debris but we were able to do our water-sports right in front of the house. “The house was beautiful inside. It was very clean and cozy . The beds were very comfortable. Teresa the host was very attentive and got back right away with us about any questions we had . We loved the game room in the basement. The pool in neighborhood is awesome with great view of lake! It’s such wonderful family atmosphere. “Loved this place! It was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. It has a huge front yard for the dogs to run and a fenced in back yard to keep them contained. “Our daughter got married this past weekend. We were looking for a place that was pretty close to the venue since we lived out of town that would accommodate our large family. We luckily found this lake house at Badin Lake. It was absolutely perfect for our family and accommodated all of us. We love the game room and the view of the lake.
