“Bay view. We stayed at this house at the end of August 2025. The pictures online are accurate and the house is both large and well situated but slightly dated. Note that there is also a smaller rental property at the back of an agricultural shed at the back of the property. This is owned and managed by the proprietor but is not signposted so may lead to confusion. We had one European renter actually walk into our house during our stay asking for directions and then aggressively implying that……

“This house was a great base for our family trip to Donegal. The large travel cot & high chair came in very handy. It was cosy and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. and there was plenty of room for us all to eat and sit together. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Killahoey beach or into Dunfanaghy. We all agreed it was a winner. Only complaint was it seemed like a few small repairs are needed - one of the windows and one of the showers.”

“The cottage was perfect, in a gorgeous area of wild Donegal. Easy walk to a couple of small beaches. Nice shop and pub a few minutes car ride away. The house was cozy and clean, with everything we needed. Anne had let us know that there was a sudden problem with the central heat, and the work needed to be done to fix it would have had the plumber there during our stay, and she didn’t want us bothered. The house was warm enough, and we made a fire in the evenings in the wood stove. Anne actually……
