Haunted House! Uninhabitable!

My overall impression of the property was we need to get in touch with VRBO right now! It was a studio apartment/loft & was expecting that but was also expecting to be able to sit on the bed but NO WAY! The bed was stained with urine (see pictures) the linens were unwashed stained with; makeup, blood & also bedbugs ( see pictures). There was black & white mold growing in the walls & also asbestos. There were two drinking cups, unwashed towels.. I could not wait to get out of there, we stayed 3 hours while taking turns sitting in the one chair while on the phone with VRBO support ( who saw the pictures via email) & they stated “ No” they would NOT sleep in that bed. After a total of 8-10 hours I was told VRBO would be issuing a refund & I was satisfied UNTIL I received an email stating that “Under their book with confidence guarantee” I will not be refunded. What a waste of time!

Mold in the shower & if I were to use it I was told mold spores would shoot out all over my body.

Quick trip

Property, ease of entrance and accommodations were very nice. We were not in the space much, so the TV, which was modest, didn’t effect our stay. Communication and expectations were very good. Parking due to construction was a little difficult, but didn’t impact our stay👍

Missing Amenities

The original property had an issue so the manager had to move us to this alternate, which was helpful and appreciated. However, the second property was not equipped with some basic amenities you'd expect from an VRBO listing. There was no caffeinated coffee available which was a bit of a bummer. The property showed a coffee machine and I was hoping basic coffee would be on site. Maybe a little presumptuous of me, but having a coffee maker PLUS coffee available is a big bonus and makes me feel more at home. There was also a single bath towel - there were no others in any room, closet or cabinet in the property that me and my partner could find. Another bummer; this is something I'd expect is always available. The managers were kind and very responsive, but I think there are opportunities to go up a notch.
