“This was a really lovely place to stay and I wish we had longer at the property. Everything we could have wanted was provided onsite, and it was very close to the town. The only drawbacks were that it was a bit difficult to find (the route is circuitous, and Google Maps doesn't do a great job with navigation), and that we arrived during an unseasonably cold spell, and it was freezing. It would be good to have the heaters on a little to prepare for arriving guests. Other than that, a lovely stay!……

“This is our favorite place to stay in Julian. The house has everything we need...along with a deck in the trees and a hot tub steps away. It feels you are in a hideaway on the hill with views to the lake. The spaces are cozy and everything is always clean.”

“We loved the location for its view and access to the lake but also really appreciated the spaciousness of the room sizes and that it had extra cots in case anyone needed their own bed. Would 100 percent like to stay again!”

“We needed a 3-bedroom place to accommodate 3 friends wanting to hike/explore the area. This cabin was perfect for us. The location was right next to very nice hike (Nobel Canyon) and not far from others. The beds were comfy, the neighborhood very quiet, water was hot and pressure good. All the appliances worked fine. Kitchen was small but very workable. The house manual gave plenty of useful instructions. We used the space heaters in the morning, otherwise the temp was very pleasant. It……

“The cabin had many items and features of the past with all the modern conveniences. The property had a place to sit outside and enjoy the trees and surroundings. It was a very relaxing place to stay and enjoy friends. And very close to Julian.”

“Cozy house with a/c and several decks with mountain view. Enjoyed the jacuzzi nightly. Good walks in the neighborhood. Very comfortable. The driveway took a little getting used to, but then it was fine.”

Such a quiet and relaxing area, the cabin is also very fun with all the little details. It was a pretty hot weekend, and the beds still had the winter flannel sheets, but other than that it was perfect.”
