“Everything about the red room was classic. A bio of the person whom the room was named after, "The Hamilton Room." Picture a perfect view out of the window and access to a cozy courtyard on the "o" floor. Lots of reading material that invites you to chill and read in comfortable chairs. The main bus stop for Calais is within view of the front door and the classic theatre building with three venues inside is literally across the street.”

“We were very happy with the stay, the location is convenient, a lot of restaurants nearby and few minutes walk to a shopping centre. The room is spacious, clean and the staff are nice and friendly. A lot of polices around the hotel makes it very safe and confident to park our car in the car park.”

“Clean and spacious room and bathroom, nice continental breakfast with a good variety of choices to choose from, friendly and responsive staff. The only nuisance was that I wasn't informed I had to pay cash, which I didn't mind that at all. Just that had I known in advance, I'd have made sure that I brought enough cash and wouldn't have to go to an ATM nearby.”

“The Holiday Inn was great. I had to change the booking twice due to my husband’s health. Reception very helpful. Only disappointment was the restaurant. The staff were friendly and efficient but the menu and food was very disappointing. I had an entrecôte which frankly was tough and inedible. My husband had a Caesar salad. Cold tough chicken with too much lettuce and only a couple of anchovies on the top. The menu itself was poor. Parsnip soup? ”
