Capri by the Gulf 101, Beachfront Beauty Just Steps from the Water!

Capri by the Gulf is located directly on one of the most sought after stretches beaches in the world. The property sits on 300 feet of beach in the heart of Crystal Beach. The gated community helps guests feel a sense of privacy and safety while keeping traffic to the beach to a minimum. This property is excellent for a romantic getaway or a family with small children. Capri 101 sleeps four. 1 Queen size bed and 1 sleeper sofa. Seasonal Beach Service (March 15 - October 31) is included with the rentals (2 chairs and 1 umbrella set up daily on the beach). NO TENTS OR CANOPIES ALLOWED ON BEACH. Rentals during the peak season are taken from Friday to Friday. Complimentary wifi included for streaming your favorite apps! Cable not provided.

Capri 101 is located in a prime location in Destin! Nestled directly between the Destin Harbor and The Village of Baytowne wharf guests can experience the best of both worlds. It is very convenient to walk to Camille's, The Crab Trap or 790 on the Gulf for a drink or a quick bite or walk over at night and enjoy inside dining with a great view! Also, less than one mile from Capri by the Gulf is Destin Commons outdoor mall, movie theater, Uncle Buck's Bowling, Bass Pro, World of Beer, and many other shopping and dining options. And if you don't want to leave the beach road for dinner, you have some great options: Kenny D's, Pompano Joe's, Surf Hut, or Caption Dave's on the Gulf. Whether you come to Destin for the fishing, water sports, golfing, or just to relax on the beach, we have you covered.


Destin, Florida is known as "the worlds luckiest fishing village", but we do not stop there! The whitest beaches of Florida and the Emerald Green waters are unmatched. Shop in an outlet mall, an upscale outdoor mall, or one of many boutique stores. When you are through shopping, there are endless places to enjoy the local fare or just get a quick bite. Don't forget about our water park, amusement parks, and our dozens of golf courses.

Exactly what I needed! Great place for a weeks getaway with my hubby! Plenty of resting and relaxing. Coffee in the morning dinner at night all on the beach! Very quiet and quaint. We are definitely gonna make this a yearly visit!

Best equipped VRBO we’ve ever rented
First of all, this location is perfect for daily beach walks (it’s mid Feb and too cold for swimming), either east or west on the beach works. The road behind Capri is a normal 2 lane so you don't hear the massive traffic on the new highway 98. The condo itself is generously equipped with the best collection of cooking implements. (Usually we end up purchasing something , but not this time). 3 dinners and most breakfasts were easily prepared. Thank you. The bed was fine as was the bathroom. Plenty of towels for 2 for a week. If you don’t want a behemoth high rise and want to be on the Beach, this is for you. Not party central, everything goes quiet after the sun goes down. So grateful the beach is not touched by commercialism. Strangely, there is no recycling here- would suggest you offer recycling for your guests.
