This property struggles with the same issues that most cheap stays struggle with, people who disobey rules and disrespect the property. We had to be switched to 3 different rooms due to the first room having a roach infestation and smelled like weed, the second room had a very stale cigarette smell that was awful and the tv didn’t work. The third room thankfully everything worked and finally didn’t have roaches but it had a faint smell of weed that was drowned out by cologne. We only seen one roach in that room and it was thankfully on the last day. The front desk staff were very nice and due to the inconvenience then gave me a significant discount. That was maybe the single highlight to our stay here. Another positive is the location, right behind a beach shop and a lot of places to visit and eat nearby. The harbor walk is just a couple minutes down the road as well. I’m really not trying to bash motel 6 but I think it should be something to consider before staying, I brought my pregnant wife and 2 year old daughter so the smoke and insect issues was a big problem for us. As I said, very great staff. If the customers wouldn’t leave their doors wide open for hours and smoke indoors maybe this place wouldn’t have the issues that they do. I would not stay again solely because of the roaches.

The place is dirty, old, with a horrible smell in the room, uncomfortable beds, old pillows, old discolored towels, horrible and terrible place.

Very poor experience,never again . I would rather sleep in my car . Dirty location , Dirty room a roach in ac temperature board.”, drain to tub had hairs and clogged we woke up to a leaking ac unit that wet the entire floor of the room. And to top it off opening the door to leave we had a huge surprise with pet poop on the door mat of the main entry.

I booked my family to stay for spring break. When we arrived our room was dirty so I requested another one. To my surprise that room was worse and not ADA compliant. There were live roaches in the room and dog poo next to door. I asked for a dill Redondo and they did but it took 5 days

Oh God, where do I start? First off the bed had mold so make sure you check your bed. The only reason why I found this out because we came back from the beach and the room smelt funny so I started looking around for the smell. Also the shower had mold along the edge and smelt terrible and the Curtain is way too small. The floor… I wiped it upon arrival and was black as night…The TV also did not have any channels. There were crackheads below and around us and Hanging out around that location. the police and fire dept. showed up at one time for another incident. I only got refunded partially and had to leave immediately after reporting this I was basically kicked out of the motel and partially refunded. My baby was asleep during this time after a long day at the beach so this being super dirty I did not want to stay anyways for entire family health. The listing for this motel is absolutely a lie and misleading. The only thing really good giving it at least the one star is it’s close to some really good beaches but other than that I’d give this property a big 0 out of 100. I would not recommend this to anyone that has good taste, but if your a nasty person then this might be nice for you? Idk anyways that’s my experience overall and wish this for no one seeking a relaxing vacation.

The main door wouldn't close all the way. The "nightstand" was broken and hanging. The towels were dirty. The people that were staying at this hotel were sketchy and noisy at 1-3am smoking outside and the smoke entered the room inside. This room was booked as a non-smoking but still reeked of smoke.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. In our room the fridge, microwave, and stovetop were filthy and the stove would barely heat anything. The microwave was old and chipped inside. Shelves were also dirty. The bathroom fan was cake with dust and was extremely loud and the toilet ran constantly. The laundry room was filthy, one washer was out of service, the dryer ate our quarters and we were not given a refund. There were random power outtages. The front desk staff was rude and unhelpful and no one ever checked in on us to see if we needed cleaning, sheet turnover, etc. Guests made noise and played loud music all hours of the day and night, and the Crossfit gym next door did the same.Trash was all over outside. Never again will we stay in a Motel 6.

Got to the property, soon as we walk in a sign saying no cable, no wifi. Went to the room changed came back 5 hours later the whole room smelled like weed!!! No where to park we had parking pases, cars where parked there with no Pass, tons of people sittig outside being loud "@12AM in the morning", the smell of weed came in our room all night.
