Loved our stay at Village Inn. Room clean breakfast in the morning and the pool was sparkling clean. I watched the crews tending to windows, landscaping and cleaning all the time. A piece of magic in Destin right across the street from the Boardwalk. We had our boat and the Destin Marina was two streets away and Crab Island was right across from the marina. My husband was able to cross Crab Island off his bucket list. The Emerald Coast is not a place to be missed and the Village Inn is right in the heart of it.

We stay here twice a year and it is so convenient in the area. Walkable to the boardwalk and our favorite bars in the area. We have electric scooters so it is very convenient for us to get around town even to further areas. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The room itself is fairly okay since we stay here only to sleep every other moment we’re out and about so really can’t complain. They have a pool and are dog friendly which is a plus. Overall couldn’t beat it.

We had a wonderful stay at Village Inn Destin. The only thing that was disappointing was the main outlet between the beds did not work. Other than that, great staff, good breakfast options and very clean.

This was a great little value stay, the team was professional and friendly. Would be five stars but we were in a smoking room night one, we did not realize it was a smoking property, if we were informed at check in we would have absolutely picked non-smoking. When we asked to move the second night they were very accommodating. The continental breakfast was a little sparse, hot food is biscuits and gravy and sausage, since I don’t eat sausage there was bagels and juice, some other packaged danish. Great area though it was across the street from the board walk so VERY convenient. No public transportation so you will need to rely on ride service (Iber, Lyft, taxi)

Seriously, my window had a huge crack in it and the bed sagged in the middle and there were prostitutes and other sketchy types hanging out. I get that it's a tourist town and this is one of those that has the low rates and I regret making the reservation. Spend a little more so that you can have peace.

The floors felt filthy when walking on them. Toilet, bath tub and areas around them were dirty. The room had a musty mildew smell , the air conditioning units were blowing out stinky air as well. This hotel needs an update for sure. Maintenance person was very grouchy, punting the pool area during the day maybe not such a great idea!

The location, you can't beat the location for this hotel, is nothing fancy, but you are close to everything, I drove 6 min to princess beach, I love it, walk distance to the harbor walk board and bunch place to eat.
