“We arrived from Petra… very courteous reception… unfortunately I wa s very sick on my stomach… likely from my breakfast in Petra. Mohammed and the team were VERY helpful. My wife enjoyed the camel ride and the supper… but she fell ill during the night. Otherwise, we loved every thing about the place… the location, the “bubble tent” to gaze at the stars from bed… just couldn’t do the things we had planned due to the sickness. Highly recommend this camp to others!”

“What a spectacular place and people. Omar has been a great host treating us like family. The rooms had clean sheets and spotless bathrooms. The food (zarrab: meat and rice buried under ground) was so good. Omar took us on a four hour tour to different landmarks and famous movie filming sites. When it was time for sunset, we went to a viewing point and watched the magical colors of Wadi Rum. Omar and his brother Sohaib had many stories to tell at night by the campfire. The whole day experience……

“Egyedi a hely fekvése. Nem csoda, hogy itt forgattak több hollywoodi filmet, mint a Star Wars és az Aladdin. A közelben semmi nincs, teljes a csend, és a nyugalom. A pihenést semmi nem zavarta. A csillagokban rég nem tudtam így gyönyörködni. A sátor panoráma kilátásos volt, és a felszereltsége mesebeli. Biztos, hogy el fogok még ide jönni. ”

“Everything was perfect, they helped me all the time and drove me to the JETT Bus Station to go back to Amman by myself. I made a camel tour on the sunrise and also was amazing. I would come back for sure. ”

“Fantasztikus élmény, fantasztikus emberek, finom helyi ételek, a vezetőnk kiváló és jól beszél angolul. Mindenkinek bátran ajánlom őket. A látogatóközpont próbálja a túrákat lenyúlni, nem fogadd el, hivd a szállást és ott kezdj. Velük lehet egyeztetni mindenről. Kijönnek eléd és bevisznek a szállásra. Ha kocsival vagy ingyenes a parkoló, ott letudod tenni. Kiváló és nagyon ajánlom!!! Star camp a neve nem nights star.”

“The whole experience was terrible. First the camp location is 25km away from where it said. Their location says its in the Wadi Rum Protected zone, once you pay the camp fees thinking you are going to be staying in the protected zone, they ask you to drive 25km back where you were coming from, then ask you to park your car in their private residence and use their 4X4 to get to the location a further 10km away. At this point i refused to go further, just turned back and left for Aqaba. I……
