“Writing this review to quiet some of the concerns of the previous reviewer… this rental was amazing! First, the views cannot be beat and the outdoor deck living space is just wonderful. It is the highest location in this particular spot of Basti, with amazing views and a breeze. It’s basically a very unique tropical jungle treehouse high above the town. The ACs in the bedrooms work very well and there is consistently hot water, with strong water pressure - things that are hard to find on……

“The view from the house is beautiful. The owners live next door, and were exceptionally responsive. We saw starfish and other sealife right off the front patio, and went snorkling right from there. The house was clean, and matched the description.On the downside, the area was not quiet. The steps to the house were broken below the waterline, and the lowest available step broke when my wife was climbing up after snorkling, leaving several bruises and cuts. While the owners were very sorry……

“Fedy, who managed the property was lovely, however the house was rather dirty, dirty fridge, creature droppings, dusty, dirty bathroom, etc. The shower has no hot water. Not many kitchen supplies (only 2 forks, for example)The pump ran on for an unknown reason making a loud screechy noise. It was therefore shut off at 10pm and we were given a bucket of water so we could flush the toilet. We actually left a day early because of the pump situation, and we wanted to be able to have a nice hot……
