Close enough to town for groceries and restaurants/pubs, but far enough away to allow for peaceful evenings at home when we wanted. Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!”

“We‘ve stayed here for some days to explore Cork region. It was a little tiny for 4 persons but okay though as we haven‘t been home most of the time. Check-in and out was comfortable and easy. We do not have pets, but had the feeling to find a lot of hair though. Didn‘t have to contact anyone for help as everything worked well. ”

“We enjoyed our stay and how original this home was. The hot tub and creek out back was so relaxing after a day of traveling. We didn’t cook while there so I can’t remark on cooking supplies and etc. I think some shelving in the large wardrobes in bedrooms would help a lot. We used the extra small table in the utility area to lay out our clothes so we didn’t have to get into luggage everyday. They had plenty of extra covers/pillows in 2nd bedroom. “Mariza and Barry have set up a comfortable home away from home for their guests. We were greeted with fresh flowers, yummy homemade bakes and general comfort. This Cottage is well appointed while still being appropriate for children to stay. Mariza was easy to communicate with and even brought her dogs by to meet us on our last morning. We visited Blarney Castle which was fabulous! Explored Cork a bit and visited Bunratty Castle. I highly recommend both castles as all day experiences. Thank you……

“Rita was the host, really nice person. Property was spacious and had everything you could want.No need to bring anything iron, washing machine, dryer, towels, dishes, pots & pans, wine glasses, everything was here.The tin opener broke, but i bought a new one and left it in the drawer.The back door was awkward to lock, so we used the side door and front door.You will not be disapointed staying here, the view is superb.The two horses enjoyed the apples & carrots we gave them, they kept looking out……
