“The Old Cottage was a small drive from reception. This proved to be worthwhile since it was beautifully located in front of waterfalls and among trees. It was truly wonderful to be in an accomodaiton that allowed you to enjoy the natural beauty of Iceland. The accomodation was also very spacious and clean. “Wonderful and peaceful stay. The host was very friendly. All the amenities were provided. Recommend booking the spacious room. It can sleep up to 6 with laundry and kitchen.”

We couldn't figure out if we had to pay for parking or not and the owner doesn't respond to questions from the day of check-in on so we can only assume we were ok. We didn't experience midges or lineups or a lack of toilet paper like other people. We did experience rude travelers who arrived at midnight and made a ruckus through the night and into the morning but that is……
