“Lovely property close to Malelane gate. The people who work here really make it feel like you’re visiting friendly relatives. It was a beautiful , restful stay for my kids and I. We enjoyed the lovely meals from the restaurant, the ambiance and view were also superb. Fun pool- the kids pool is super for young kids too. ”
“This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! ”
“My wife and I loved our 3-night stay at Eagle’s Nest Chalets in Hazyview. The cozy, private chalets immersed us in nature, just minutes from Kruger’s Phabeni Gate. A special thanks to Riekie for being such a warm and welcoming host! Gravel roads, no WiFi in rooms? No problem—it made our digital detox even better. Peaceful, comfortable, and ideal for couples. Hopefully, we get to be back!”
“We had so many animals come by - just exactly what I wanted. Recommend bringing candles and torches with all the loadshedding in the country. Added to the bush feel though so no complaints. Would definitely stay again!”
“The privacy was a huge plus. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Customizable air-conditioning in every space. The surrounding amenities and basically being on a golf course made for a relaxing holiday feel. A local pub at the gate had some interesting characters and friendly locals. The utensils and fully pimped out kitchen meant it was easy to make food and snacks.
The daily cleanup service was awesome.
All in all, a very clean and relaxing place!”
“A lovely property beautifully appointed and in a beautiful setting. Home is spacious with every amenity you could want. Wish we could stay here our entire time at Kruger Park. ”
“We stayed 2 nights in Kruger Kumba, which is situated in Marloth Park. Frankly speaking, we were so regret for not extending our stay. The experience was awesome, where there were so many visitors right in front of the patio, not to mention kudu, impala, wildebeest, warthog, zebra etc. Too bad we didn't get to see the bushbabies. The accommodation itself is comfy, clean and well equipped. The host is friendly, welcoming and so caring to provide lots of advices and recommendation. We are already……
“The lodge was beautiful and peaceful. I liked the consideration given to all the little things, like the usb & 2 pin charges, the emergency lights etc.
The only thing it is a bit far out, but if looking for quite & peace, it the place to be. ”
