“Kruger Park Lodge in general is a very nice property. The property is very well kept, clean and well looked after. The facilities are great with the hippo hide where you can watch hippos safely as well as an extremely nice golf course on the property with impala walking on the course. The pool area is very nice and the restaurant (G’s) is good. There is also a lapa area where they do a traditional braai (think bbq on steroids) and a river area you can walk to. “Fabulous river frontage My husband tried unsuccessfully to land some fair sized trout. Cottage very comfortable with fireplace and heaters. Had Sabie trout in the restuarant which was excellent. Perfect base for visiting all the local sites and hikes. Will go back again. Staff discreet and efficient. Sadly, my offer to buy life rights to the cottage as a retirement home was rejected. Ah well….”
