“My friend and I made our last stop in Essouira to conclude our 3 week birthday vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming our host Zachariah was(my apologies if I spelled that wrong). The residence was beautiful and walking distance from everything..ie the beach, Medina, restaurants, bus depots etc. The terrace of the hotel had the most amazing view. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting essouira, as well I would stay here again.”

“We spent 2 relaxing weeks in Dar Nouchka...most of it on the upper terrace enjoying the sea breezes, watching the antics of the seagulls, & relaxing! Great location close to Place Moulay Hassan and sea wall - the faint strains of the musicians in the square or the live music from nearby Taros restaurant added to the ambience without intruding. ”

“This was a beautiful flat, very well decorated and very clean. In person, it’s much better than the photos. The location was excellent with it being right in the Medina . There are a lot of stairs so we arranged for porters to help get luggage up and down a winding staircase. The apartment has lots of space for lounging around and lots of bathrooms to serve a larger group. The breakfast that can be provided to be made at the apartment is convenient but we felt expensive for the value. We had……

“We had a wonderful stay at Bab Gammon. The house is very spacious and beautifully decorated. Since we travelled with younger children in February, the heated pool was a great choice for us. With two cats and five turtoises in the garden, staying in for the day didn’t get boring. Said and Aziza, who are the caretakers of this property prepared a wonderful breakfast every day and dinners of our choosing. The beef Tajine was absolutely phenomenal! "It was a nice stay overall. Excellent location where I could visits all the spots on foot. The staffs there were nice and helpful. The room was clean (just the light was a bit dim). I enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop very much.
By the way, the tax charge stated on Hotel.com was incorrect MAD19.8 per person night, but turned out MAD30 instead) which made me a bit confused during check-out. Kindly amend the information.
