“As an asian city person, it was almost impossible to imagine living on a lake during winter. Although I couldn’t see any aurora during the days I stayed in Inari, it was satisfying looking into the sky in the cabin at night and under sunlight. The hosts are very nice and friendly that he helped me to check the aurora status and the flight status of leaving Inari (since the corona virus is spreading and many flight has been cancelled). He also helped me to register for the activities in Inari……

“The place is really wonderful...a bit difficult to find, as google maps shows a wrong direction shortly before you arrive. The house is clean and well equipped. Don't worry if you have no direct contact to the keyholter but be careful with the frontdoor...we excluded us from the apartment one time and it was a bit difficult do get somebody to help. You need to check the document inside...there you will find a contact number beside the keyholder.In winter you will find a frozen river in front of……

“The cabin was just right for me and my wife enjoying our honeymoon in Lapland. It’s cosy, well equipped and the living area was very comfortable. The only thing that let it down a bit were the pillows, they were small and very firm. Aside from that it was great. The pictures of the cabin on the advert don’t really do it justice, and it certainly exceeded our expectations when we went into it.”

"We had a great stay here. Riverside building with sauna room and balcony. Very cold in winter while stay at balcony but luckily we saw aurora in midlight . Room is clean and shower is very hot.Bed too soft for us. Great breakfast, very kind staff. Near supermarket. 15EURO for airport transfer &10EURO for bus station transfer. The aurora hunting tour through the hotel especially was awesome and unforgettable.The guide suggested we changed to another day as bad weather without any additional charges.We had amazing night with the guide and beautiful aurora. "

Best Hotel in Finland

"We stayed at the Kelo of West Village and it is very clean and cozy where you have your own sauna, bathroom, kitchen and of course the signature igloo. Staff are very helpful and we’ve also met the owner who’s very friendly and welcoming. We’ve stayed 5 nights and 3 nights with eye-visible northern lights. Oh and I have to mention, dinner is surprisingly delicious!!!"
