“We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. The cooking area was nicely done so that you could cook breakfast easily.
The property is gorgeous and you really feel like you're in the middle of the rainforest by yourself. Very relaxing. We ate in the restaurant on site (you need to let them know you're coming) and the meals were fantastic. The owner is great and wants to be sure everything is acceptable. A great……

“Excellent stay: rooms are clean and comfortable. A/C worked great, shower was awesome and surrounding views are beautiful. Great restaurants in town as well as small grocery store and ATM.
Property manager was polite, courteous and helpful (he met us at the property). He had the hottub waiting for us nice and hot!”

“Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. “The views were amazing and the breeze made it just fine without air conditioning. The villa was quiet and perfect and no one wanted to go home. Dominica is beautiful and the people are really kind and friendly. Next time we’ll hire a local driver because the roads are not for tourists.”

“We stayed with Kevin twice during our 2-week trip to Dominica. Kevin's place is clean and comfortable, and he's a great cook!
Kevin also organizes tours of the Kalinago territory, and I would greatly recommend it! We got to meet local people who showed us and invited us to participate in various aspects of Kalinago culture. I had looked for an experience like this online but couldn't find one.

“Calibishie is about beaches so why not stay in a wonderful villa overlooking the beach? This villa is great and you should stay here if it is available. Glorious sunrise views over Hodge's beach from your bedrooms and the terraces - you can walk down the path to get this beach and you probably will be alone there as it is very quiet. The villa is clean and big and functional and well managed locally. Thanks Kelvin! No complaints at all and we will gladly stay here again. ”
