“We found it very difficult to communicate with the absentee owner, who had not provided proper directions even up to the time when we arrived in Charlestown. Only through the assistance of a stranger who allowed us to use his office wifi, were we able to talk with the owner, who was in Hong Kong, then our newfound friend drove us to the location in his personal car. We were met there by a local person who apparently cares for the property. The house is badly in need of repair, many lights not……

Everything was so smooth and easy. We loved the island. I didn’t know at the time of booking but later was told this side of the island is more windy than the other side. I would definitely recommend renting a vehicle to get around. I loved the stay, everything was smooth and easy. I would come again.”
