“Our family of three had an amazing stay at Cottages by the Sea.! We stayed in the Carol's Rest cottage and cannot recommend it enough.! Perfect cottage for our family.! Right when we got there, the staff welcomed us with big smiles and made us feel super comfortable. Every person we met was so nice and went out of their way to make our trip an amazing experience. We really want to thank the staff for being so kind. They made our vacation extra special.! Carol’s Rest Cottage was like a dream.!……

“The property was good and a solid choice for a quiet stay on the island. It was disappointing that the restaurant was closed for renovations however the Coral Sea restaurant located a 10 minute walk away offered a great option. Te good ”

“This was a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. We spent most of our time out on the deck with the light trade winds and the wonderful view. Everything we could possibly need for the kitchen was there. The pool was a nice treat. The owner was very available for question and advice. We never even had to turn on air condition beause the breeze was so nice. I highly recomend this home we had such a great time.”

“Our stay at the condo was great. It is centrally located on the island, so we could drive anywhere we wanted to go easily. It is a few minutes drive into Christiansted where there are plentiful restaurant options. It is close to groceries and gas stations. JoAnna was a very responsive host and helpful with recommendations. Check in was easy, the place was clean, the complex had a nice pool. It was quiet during our stay. I would stay here again.”

“Sunrises in the morning, sunsets at night, all from the comfort of the patio and tide pool. Sea View Play is by far my favorite villa I have ever stayed in. The view is spectacular and incredibly photogenic and the fact the living room opens up to experience that makes this a must stay villa in my opinion. Rob is a fantastic host and was incredibly quick to respond and made sure we had a great time. I can't recommend this place enough! We'll be coming back for sure.”

“Mother / daughter trip - our first time to St. Croix. The condo was very clean, well stocked, comfortable, and had everything we needed. As others have stated, the complex is showing it's age but is maintained well and the pool is in excellent condition. The condo has everything you need - plenty of towels, good quality beach chairs and all the basic necessities. We were very comfortable there and felt safe. “We checked in the the cottage for the second half of our trip to St. Croix. The communication with Alison was excellent! She was very helpful with all sorts of recommendations regarding our stay on St. Croix. The cottage was perfect! All that the 2 of us needed! We enjoyed coffee on the porch with the beautiful ocean view and soaking up the sun on the secluded beach. It was quiet and private at the cottage. “This was a perfect location that had a beyond stunning view. We were able to get around the island easily with a rental car (highly recommend). Hosts were responsive and gave lots of valuable info before the stay. The beach in front of the condo was lovely. We were always able to get the temperature comfortable and had everything we needed in the condo. ”

“Our family of 5 spent a week in April. As advertised, this property is literally right on the beach. The water was calmer than other beaches on the island that we visited making it great for younger kids. The pool area is also nice. Condo was very clean! Plenty of towels and beach toys. 4 stars based on location because the neighborhood surrounding the property was run down compared to other properties that we drove by on other parts of the island. Would use caution if out after dark. ”
