“The location of the property suited us well because of the proximity to the beach. Very clean linen and comfortable bed. The general cleanliness of the unit let it down. The floor was very dirty and under the bed had obviously not been looked at for some time. Otherwise, good service. ”

“Our family of 6 left our car at the cottage and easily walked to Puke Ariki via the coastal walkway, to the Cycle Inn to rent bikes, and to town for dinner. The cottage is beautifully presented & generously stocked. We loved it!”

“Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again.”
