“When you want to be near a beach, some walking trails, a cafe, the mountains and watch the boats on the water - this is it! Just a pity it rained the whole time we were there! The property is set up as a home from home and has everything we needed to cook a roast, open a bottle of wine or sit on the verandah with a hot cuppa and watch the water (and the rain). “We’ve stayed at many places in and around Paihia and this place was lovely. Superb views, clean, good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, the spa was great. It is elevated away from the foot traffic of Paihia which is a nice change. The dvd library was a welcome blast from the past. Modern, excellent views, captured the sun, warm and clean. Would stay here again. ”

“Not enough wine glasses for 8 pax, we bought 4 and left in cupboard to share. Coffee machine does not have the correct basket in coffee holder to brew the coffee. coffee grinds were very hard to get out to make next one which made a hell of a mess. We wasted a lot of the coffee. If you put the correct basket in it will make a nice coffee.”

“Comfortable room (ambience 'slightly dated/well used'), containing kitchenette and all the gadgets we wanted. The wooden upstairs walkway to our room seemed slightly shaky but in reality wasn't a problem. The location is excellent, at the heart of the town and close to the ferry pier.”
