When we first approached the door to our room, there was a bag of garbage, not tied closed, next to the door and it was full of a child's bday party garbage. We walked into our room and on first glance, it seemed fine - but, I kicked my shoes off and was walking around barefoot and felt like I was walking on something other than carpet. I stared at the floor and said, "I think there is either Superman ice cream or play dough all over the floor." We then went to put some drinks we brought into the frig, and the frig was full of leftovers - half eaten burgers and fries, and it wreaked. My husband then said, "There is literally stuff all over the carpet. I do not think it was vacuumed..." He sat down on the bed and went to turn the TV on. He fiddled around with the remote and then checked the batteries - and one battery was missing. I called the front desk to complain. They asked to put me on hold while they looked for a different room. I was on hold for well over 15 minutes when an employee showed up and asked to see the room. No one ever got back on the phone call. It was decided this gentleman would clean the room more thoroughly while we went to the bar. Well, the bar is tended by the front desk clerk, who was busy. We had one drink and went back to the room. The cleaning was still in process. Aside from this, the elevator the next morning was full of water all over the floor, for some reason. Total hazard.
