This was a ‘pay for what you get’ stay - got a room at $63, ended up having a dirty sock on my bed that we stayed in. The toilet in the room had a hard time flushing and the bathroom was tiny.
We parked a car and good thing was that the car was safe, and unmoved. But the process of parking was frustrating. We gave them our keys the night before leaving, and were unable to get back into the car the next morning. It would have taken 8-10 minutes for the 3rd shift staff to get to the keys and the woman was very unwilling to work with us. Gave us more hassle than customer service. We didn’t stay and put our last couple items in our bag because if we had waited we would have missed the shuttle and had been late for our flight
Food at the attached restaurant was overpriced, the ‘basket’ didn’t come with fries, all dipping sauces were watered down and tasted off. The wait staff there then became rude when it appeared that we were not tipping (we left a $10 on the table and tipped 0 on our bills)
Then coming back from the airport, we waiting 25+ minutes for the shuttle van to come back. When they DID come, we were taken to a different valley lot and the driver became difficult and frustrated with us when we asked questions about why we got brought to a parking lot. This was the ‘white Mercedes van with valet on the side’ that we had been instructed to use, but someone we are the people who were messing up.
The only redeeming quality was that the staff that checked us was kind.
