“We had a fantastic stay! The room was lovely with high end furnishings and facilities and large enough for our family of four. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food at the pub was delicious and the animals were a particular highlight for our children as well, especially Ronnie and Reggie, the talking parrots. The hotel was well located with ample parking and there was plenty to do within close distance, including the Show Caves which was a great day out. We cannot recommend……

The small village up in the mountains was absolutely beautiful, and the check in process was simple with a lock box and independent arrival time. Lorna was responsive when we had questions and had reccomendations for exploring the area and restaurants.Anyone staying should plan on topping up the electric and gas immediately. Holly cottage has all you’ll need for either an active walking and sightseeing holiday or somewhere peaceful to relax, take in your surroundings and enjoy a very special part of the Brecon Beacons. “Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. Also had to message to request an internet password for the medical monitoring. Owner was very helpful and provided it straight away but it would be helpful to have it available if internet is……

“Fantastic property which has everything we needed, warm and cosy but with an all modern interior Fantastic views,we saw plenty of the wildlife ,sheep with their lamb's also birds of prey hoovering just in front of the window, bats at night, and the occasional military jet or plane buzz past. Friendly owners who are on hand but don't invade on privacy. we really enjoyed our stay while visiting the area ,we will definitely recommend and stay again. ”

“First off when arriving at the property there was no onsite parking as advertised, there was parking to the rear which you would think were for there but was told it was private and was not anything to do with the property and told there was small parking bays just up from the front of the property which were on a public road and were all full, to me this is not classed as onsite parking, onsite parking is parking designated for the property and owned by the property.
