“Terrific experience. Cottage was larger and nicer than I expected from the pictures. Extremely well appointed in terms of kitchenware etc. in general it is clear the owners have looked to make this as pleasant an experience for guests as possible. Great recommendations in the book left for guests etc. Highly recommend. ”

“Great location for the Sackets Harbor marathon. We enjoyed the sauna and kayaking in the Black River. Not many dining options in Dexter, but close to Sackets Harbor and Watertown options. ”

“Beautiful property on the shore of St. Lawrence River. We stayed in Cabin #1, which was clean, kitchen adequately equipped. Only caveat is this cabin is at the base of a surprisingly long stairway (we were told cabin was accessed by stairs, but not this many!), so moving in and out of the unit required significant aerobic ability. Also living room is oddly narrow, not a great family gathering area. But, wow! the view. We’ll definitely return, but stay in another cabin (hopefully #3, which is……

“The outside is in the process of being renovated, but inside was just newly renovated & comfortable. Loft 1 is situated by being tucked away in back away from the crowds & noise of Downtown Alexandria Bay & you can see the St. Lawrence river from the porch and if you walk just a little bit, you can sit on chairs by the river. The location was minutes away from Captain Thompson’s boat tours, restaurants & stores. No need to drive. Barbara NJ ”
