“Very comfortable well equipped cottage with the most breathtaking view over Loch Torridon. It is nestled against the hillside overlooking the Loch with just a few other crofts nearby. Diabaig is at the end of a tiny road winding up the mountainside with what must be among the most dramatic views in the Highlands. Great walking area with lots of footpaths and varied terrain. Next are all the bright interior colors that have been used throughout. There are a lot of interesting pictures and items on the walls that give one the impression that you are a visitor in someone’s home. “It was our first time trying out a self catering apartment, and we really enjoyed the two nights there. Clean, spacious, it has almost everything you need, except for a laundry machine and shower gel /shampoo. Hazel (the family dog) was super friendly, and the sunset views were ridiculously gorgeous. Applecross is a tad remote, so come prepared with all the food supplies you need. ”

“The place is amazing ”

“This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy.
