“The location is perfect for the tunnel. The rooms and bathroom are rather on the small side but ideal for an overnight stay. The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced.”

“The Holiday Inn was great. I had to change the booking twice due to my husband’s health. Reception very helpful. Only disappointment was the restaurant. The staff were friendly and efficient but the menu and food was very disappointing. I had an entrecôte which frankly was tough and inedible. My husband had a Caesar salad. Cold tough chicken with too much lettuce and only a couple of anchovies on the top. The menu itself was poor. Parsnip soup? ”

“Keep your curtain close or otherwise there will be tonnes of flies. The environment was neat and tidy and it was very near to a supermarket. However, the television indication light was EXTREMELY disturbing. It was bright and blue and shined through the night when all light was off. Have to cover it with a towel.”

“It was perfect: clean, kind staff, close to a supermarket for a simple meal, close to the Eurotunnel, fresh air because of a window that could be opened. Breakfast was fine too. I only missed a coffee machine and kettle for coffee/tea”

“We regularly stay here when crossing the Channel. It is convenient for arriving refreshed for early crossings. For the price, the rooms are very acceptable. The staff are always very pleasant and helpful. ”
