“Cute little cabin nestled in the woods near Hanging Rock. Very well taken care of. We had a great weekend there and would definetly stay there again.”

“Two of our children actually got sick on our trip so we spent a lot of time in the house. Such a charming living space with antiques, and a lovely old world feel. It’s a cozy little getaway that makes you feel like it’s a home away from home.The owner was very kind and prompt with replies.We have family nearby and look forward to booking again on our next trip. ”

“Great communication with host Mark before and during stay. He was super friendly, always available, and anticipated all of our needs without being intrusive. We were a group of three professional women attending a conference at Wake Forest University, which was a straighforward drive from the house. Besides the house, we LOVED the yard and appreciated the exercise room. Highly recommend! ”

“I'm not even sure I can think of anything negative to say about this place, especially considering some of the other places we've rented before. They have nearly everything you could need in the kitchen (except cold condiments LOL but that would be weird maybe...) The location is amazing, especially if you're planning to go tubing down the Dan River. It's great for small kids since there's only 1 floor and no stairs inside. (Listing did say there was kids' toys/playground, but didn't find……
