“I stay here when I am working in the area for a few days - I am away from dawn to dusk so can't comment on how the days are - but it is very quiet in the evenings and that is much appreciated!”

“The place was nice and quiet, on the edge of Hershey and Harrisburg. The bed was very firm and comfortable, although a bit smaller than a queen. The owners were friendly and were around if you needed something. The snacks were appreciated, and the giant tv in the living room was nice for watching movies. Would consider staying again if back in the area!”

“Our stay in this delightful Shoehouse 14-!6 July 2025 was certainly a memorable relaxing treat. You have certainly thought of and met our every need. Beds comfortable, ac adjustable, linens plentiful---even make-up removable cloths. Loved the former ice cream parlor downstairs area (where I had enjoyed previously) as we played board games with tea and Keurig coffees and the convenience of yet another bathroom there. We are fond of shopping nearby in Intercourse and Bird in Hand, PA and truly……

“Overall, excellent rental. The location is wonderful (walking distance to hershey museum and several restaurants and shops). While walking times are listed for hershey world and hershey park, you can't actually walk to them. The drive is about 10 minutes. You could walk to zoo America. Check in was easy and the host accommodated our earlier than expected arrival. Only improvement I can recommend would be a new mattress or add a supportive mattress topper in the adult bedroom. “Plenty of room for our kids & grand kids! Great deck and backyard! Liked that Starbucks coffee pods & sugar were available, but wished there was cream. Charming house and a quiet neighborhood & short drive to Hershey Park!”

“We were very happy with the place. It was nice and clean, well-suited to our needs, and the host had excellent communication. The bedrooms were spacious and it slept the 11 of us with no problems. The location makes it easy to get to and from Hershey, and once the work on the highway is finished, I think it will be even easier. Overall it was an excellent stay. Thanks!”
