“The house is beautiful. Very tasteful decor and open concept. The kitchen is nicely equipped. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The back yard is large with so many mature oak trees and no close neighbors. We were 10 minutes from downtown Salado and shopping. We used HEB in Harker Heights, but Brookshire Brothers is closer. The hosts responded to messages immediately and were very helpful. It was a perfect stay. I’d love to do it again. ”

“Came to town for an annual girls’ trip. The house was amazing and beds were sooooo comfortable. Sat on the porch one evening and saw FIREFLIES!! It was so special because we hadn’t seen any in years! Would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks for a wonderful stay. ”

“We travelled from California to visit with my family and my little grandson. The house was very comfortable for our needs and the neighborhood felt very safe, which is always important to me. There was enough room for our dog to roam supervised and a big kitchen to cook in. I would stay there again for sure.”

“4 couples stayed 2 nights. Plenty of hot water for showers.3 full baths, which we didn't expect from the listing. Nice surprise. Definitely hard to find but i shared a pin drop once i found the gate. That helped the others find it. Plenty of parking as well. ”

“We had an amazing time! The rooms are bright, open, and spacious. We loved sitting on the patio to watch planes and the sunset, and to grill and just hang out in the hot tub. We would love to stay there again some time. ”

“This place was beautiful and well-stocked in the kitchen. We were able to cook and not have to eat out. The rooms were good-sized and everything was clean. Definitely will stay here again when in town.”

“Our family drove 10 hours to visit our kiddo station near by. The convenience of having a house only 10 mins from him was great. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was very nice and helpful. My whole family loved the house. It was clean and well kept. There is plenty of room for everyone. Our future visits we will be looking at the availability of this house to stay here again. The kids also enjoyed the fact that the deer were so friendly.”

“Property nice and quiet, pretty secluded. Took forever for the place to cool down, hot when I arrived. No closets at all. Couldn’t use the dresser in the room for my things. They were filled with extra bedding and a note saying I would be charged if tampered with. Never was able to get any channels in the TV, tried all options, kept getting a no service alert? I just gave up on it! Left my stay a day early, didn’t even care about the money lost.”

“We walked in and our jaws dropped. This place is professionally decorated with luxury linens and it is incredibly well equipped. Tons of hanging out space. So close to downtown and the drive in and out of the neighborhood is so nice (with lots of deer/baby deer at this time of year. Will stay here anytime we have 3 couples! The beds and pillows are awesome. ”
