The host played along with the initial surprise which was most appreciated. The perfect place for a quiet and private retreat. I would return to this property for a group event again.”

“Cabin was well equipped beds super cozy even though I almost needed a ladder to get into the bed! One bathroom for 3 was a challenge but clean and again well equipped. Hosts were very accommodating. ”

Perfect for our intergenerational fam gathering, with plenty of indoor games, and outdoor fun with large firepit, hot tub, badminton, giant jenga and more. BONUS: Beautiful walking trails accessed right from back yard and on-site high end e-bike, kayak rentals. Kurt was beyond helpful and considerate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“It was a really perfect little getaway for me. The cabin was so well thought-through for comfort and necessity, and it was also very tidy and clean. I was a bit confused at the check-in process as there wasn't really one, but that was all okay as they said hello later and were communicative over text. The porch facing the forest was incredible for a night-time fire and looking at the stars. I went for a little forest walk too. It was really so perfect. There were even a couple of deer in the……

“Actually we stayed in Red Deer as the house in Rocky Mountain became unavailable. We really enjoyed our stay in Red Deer. Everything was great. Good location, not too far from beach. Al cutlery and utensils were found. Pots and pans and other kitchen items were at our disposal. Jim is a great host and answered all our questions to our satisfaction. We encountered no problems whatsoever during our stay.I highly recommend Jim and his VRBO to any potential traveller. We would stay there……

“This private cabin is nestled perfectly in the wooded area. Looking out over the pond is beautiful. The hottub is amazing. We enjoyed walking the trails, seeing the stars and got to see a magical show of the northern lights. It's incredibly peaceful and a great way to disconnect and relax.”

“Queen and king beds were comfortable with great linens. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. The living space was well laid out. Furniture was comfortable. We loved the fire pit and the proximity to the beach. The floor could have been cleaner - we found our socks got dirty right off the bat. ”
