“Amazing place! Has everything you need except cellular service - but let’s be honest you don’t need that either. Host was great and had suggestions on things to see nearby. The on property swimming hole was so nice for a hot summer day. Visit the insect museum nearby if it is open. ”

“Great location, close to restaurants, cafes, shops and the beach. We may have missed the information about there not being an elevator, but would have appreciated knowing in advance.”

“The apartment is a good size and great location if you want to be in town. It was a 10 minute walk to 4 mile beach which is lovely. Jo was very helpful with suggestions and let us check out late. ”

“This was our 3rd time staying in PD, first time at Saltwater - which was absolutely amazing. The location right in town on Macrossan is awesome. It is right in the middle of everything, but still very quiet in the room. So much easier than grabbing a shuttle all the time if you stay at the resorts out of town which we had done previously. Staff were very kind, kids loved the pool. Apartments are spacious with high ceilings and a nice outlook from balcony. We will be back!”

“Overall impression was ok.. our apartment could have and should have been cleaner in regards to a dirty air conditioner, a stain on the wall in the bedroom and the bathroom exhaust fan being filthy and not working. The bedroom wall light didn't work.other than ghis our stay was enjoyable and the location was brilliant! ”

“Everything was very clean….managers got right back to me when I had a question. I liked that I could walk to town and enjoyed all the shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed the lovely book lounge on the corner that allowed me to sit and read in a great atmosphere. The Wild Habitat was easy to drive to and I spent the whole day there. Other tours were easy to sign up for. Loved Port Douglas and all the people I met!”

“We stayed here for a family holiday with 9 of us. This house was perfect for everyone to have heaps of space for sleeping, chilling and playing. A beautiful quiet location with a lovely view but close to essentials for food shopping. We opted to cook up over eating out and had everything we needed. A short drive to port Douglas and easy to drive from Cairns. Thank you very much for a great stay. ”

“We have stayed at this property numerous times and will continue to. The location is perfect, right in the heart of town, across from the fabulous Court House Pub. Caroline could not have been more accommodating. Everything we could possibly need is provided in her apartment, including the perfect balcony with gorgeous bay views. Cannot fault ”

“Photos didn’t lie. The place was excellent. All 4 bedrooms were well appointed with their own bathrooms. Kids had the top level to themselves. Kitchen was amazing. All appliances were quality and made cooking very pleasant. Alfresco with BBQ and Pool is intimate and doesn’t get any sun. But that was the only downside. Would highly recommend for families sharing with other families”

“Food was really nice, frendly staff, spacious cabin with comfortable bed, very quiet, nicely hidden in the jungle so no signal or wifi in the room, but they have a large selection of dvds you can use. There is a swimming pool but You can also enjoy a refreshing dip in a natural swimming hole of the creek.”

“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas.……
