We hiked …a lot…at Devils Lake, kayaked at Mirror Lake, ate great German Food at Dorf Haus 20 min south, and enjoyed sitting outside at Tumbled Rock Brewery a short from the house. ”

If you do not wish to cook, there are several great restaurants within easy driving distance. If you get up early in the morning, you will be treated with the sounds of several owls calling from the woods. A truly great place to unwind, relax and enjoy some quiet time with your family.”

Or the sunrise from the swing near the Main Lodge. Mark is a gracious host who shared his love of the property by introducing us to Waffles, the donkey, Flowers, the cow, & numerous other animals. “The first feature was the Wyoming Valley which is always beautiful and restful. Next was the number of long windows throughout all the common areas that made you feel like you were part of the prairie. And finally the numerous Southwest and other items throughout the house that really gave it a peaceful aire. We enjoyed staying in the home so much that we didn't make any trips to neighboring towns and it was a short drive to American Players Theater which was our primary purpose. ”
