“Hosted are the best ever . House is beautiful and charming , breakfast was excellent , warm conversation with hosted and other guest def the best . I suggest small diffuser or done aromatic natural oil at the trance would make the stay more pleasant . I am sensitive to smell and first walking to the front door has an unpleasant old house smell . “We enjoyed our stay very much. We explored the canal history and the remarkable architecture of Little Falls. The Inn was very quiet until working hours when there were the normal sounds of work on the other floors. Unfortunately the WiFi signal was not usable-we could connect to it, but weren't actually able to get any use out of it. We look forward to another visit to the area.”

“This accommodation worked great for us. Great location for a ride on the Erie Canal Trail. It isn’t a fancy place but has eating and antiques nearby. There is a working kitchen for those who want to cook or make coffee and a living area separate from bedroom. “This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. “Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed. Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets. “While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch.”

“At the crest of a steep hill overlooking the Mohawk Valley, the property is well situated. Valerie welcomed us warmly and showed us where to find the necessities. All bathroom facilities work very well. The vicinity is very quiet. Full breakfast was delicious and plentiful. ”

“Having been born and raised in this area, I wasn't familiar with this location when trying to find a place close to family when coming back to visit. The address said Fort Plain, however it's in town of Danube, outside of St. Johnsville, not even remotely close to FP. Mind the location, as that wasn't a big deal to travel back and forth.
