“Great location and cute setup with easy check in and amazingly responsive hosts. There was a small hiccup with the internet and the host took care of it right away. The only things that could have improved it were that it would have been nice to have a broom and dustpan available to manage sand that got tracked in from swimming. It would also have been nice to have a spatula/ flipper in the kitchen. ”

“Spent a week exploring the Door County area and this cozy, clean and comfortable apartment was the perfect location: it’s in a quiet neighborhood in Sturgeon Bay, which has everything you need (from Walmart to Kwik Trip to mom & pop stores) and is less than an hour drive to the very top of the peninsula. The location is within walking distance to a nice beach/park and the best dive bar in town, Greystone Castle, you’re welcome. The owner was super - the apartment was too warm for me, and within……

“Great! Some welcoming touches … for example, rope lights lining the driveway to make it easy to find the property at night. Very quiet. Great neighborhood with quiet rural roads for walking, biking, running. ”

“Great condo! Can’t beat location! Condo was well equipped with everything we needed. WiFi and ac were great, beds comfy, tons of linens. The porch and outdoor area were great too! Nice to spread out and let people have their own space. The only wishlist item we had (and this has zero to do with our rating because it was exactly as advertised ) it would be nice if there was just one additional bathroom. Just a toilet and sink. For how many it sleeps, everyone sharing one bathroom got a tad tricky……

“The Doorstop and hosts Joan and Steve were very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The rental was small but very clean and neat and the spot serene and off the beaten track but not far from many other places of interest. We enjoyed viewing the wildlife, including birds, turkeys and deer. ”

“Perfect for my needs. Comfortable bed. Small old fashioned tub, but had a shower attachment. It is high tub to step into. But I managed. Complimentary Door Cty wine & coffee pkg. Location great. Within walking distance to an excellent coffee/cafe shop.”

The location is also perfect for day trips up the peninsula and other locations south, such as Algoma. The property was clean and spacious. Kelly was a great host. We enjoyed our stay.”
