“We are 2 seniors in our 70s. We knew that there would be stairs, but the listing did not reflect the magnitude of the stairs involved. Perhaps that was our fault for not asking enough questions, but the listing could be more forthright.On arrival, you have two choices. The rear parking area is fine, but the path down to the house is loose stones, so prepare to carry your luggage down. You can access the house from the street, but it is also steep, and the walkway is rough stones with limited……

Very good communication with the owners.The facilities in the cottage was more than we had anticipated. Everything was accounted for so the comfort level was very high. “This is a wonderful rental and location. The east coast of Scotland is very nice, and there are no midges in June!! The cottage is located in a wonderful location with a short walk to a small waterfall. The cottage is very comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed.”
