“We really enjoyed the whole space! We were in town for a wedding near to Auke Bay. The space is adjoined to a main house by a washer/dryer utility room, but it is otherwise private mother-in-law type of suite. The deck is a shared space but I felt like I had free range to use it especially in the morning to stare at the mountains. There is parking space for a small rental car if you should need. We had a perfect time! Being there during mid/late August was perfect timing for outdoor activities……

“I loved this stay. It's in a perfect location on a hill off the road but very close to Fred Meyer and an easy drive to Downtown or the Valley. It's a nice, quiet spot perfect to relax after a long day of work. The host was super friendly and responsive to any questions. Great kitchen, comfortable bed and living area. I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and there was a non-threatening black bear in the driveway one evening that was super fun to watch.”

“What a wonderful vacation location for a group of 6 runners throughout the US. We came to Alaska to run multiple races from 50K's to 5K's for 4 days. To have everything one would need was unbelievable. Spacious, clean, beautiful, great location (grocery around the corner), and fully equipped with all you need except your groceries. I don't use this word often but it was PERFECT in all ways. The owners, unbelievably the BEST in all communications. Thank you so very much.”

“This is a perfect getaway from downtown Juneau with trails close by and easy beach access. From the window you can see cruise ships sliding in and out of the channel framed by trees. The owners were helpful and their pdf had great tips on dining. We highly recommend this place.”

“Highly recommend. Clean well maintained. Quick response to our inquiries. It was perfect for us. Full disclosure; It is an older home the beautiful refurbish can’t eliminate some of those characteristics (closet doors that don’t close, bumps in the floor.. all very minor if you’re not a perfectionist) We would stay again without hesitation.”

“We had a great time. The house was extremely clean and well kept. Water pressure in shower was fantastic. The property was very close and easy to find from the auto ferry. A terrific Walmart type store was also quite close. ”

“The check-in was seamless, kitchen immaculate (as was the whole property), and the sauna was so wonderful, especially after long days of biking and sightseeing. And the views!!!! So many eagles are nesting around here that it’s a daily show—watching them and the shorebirds interact with the extreme tidal changes is exciting in itself! Quiet and comfortable… Most people will want a car to get here, but we used a taxi for our arrival and departure and bikes (30 min one-way to town) and walking……
