“Such a grand old building with an interesting history. The manager was lovely to deal with. My Queen room had the basics and was clean and tidy. There were 2 toilets and 2 showers on the ground floor but watch out if the toilet paper has run out by early morning! The lounge area upstairs is great! Some parking behind the building but I had to park on the street - which was fine. I stayed for 3 nights and would definitely stay there again.”

The building is a little dated but the room we were in had been refurbished. Will definitely stay again. The bathroom and toilet space could be a problem for a bigger build person or someone with mobility issues as the area is a bit tight. ”

“Absolutely fantastic hotel with lovely staff. We stayed in a newly renovated room that was very modern and the the softest mattresses I have ever slept on at a hotel. Must stay if you are stopping through Townsville”
