“Room with box bathroom in corner smelled damp, probably because regulation extraction fan in was not working and probably never had as string tied up as when fitted. The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy.”

“We enjoyed our stay here. It was in a perfect location - close to everything in the Bastide and an easy walk to the Cite. Richard was super helpful and even helped us with an additional accommodation that we needed. If we are in Carcassonne again, this is where we will stay!”

“Great welcome from Sandra and Fred who gave us access to property 2.5 hours before check in time. They were friendly , helpful and generous throughout our stay. (Do try The food especially Fred’s signature apple cake.) Apartment comfortable and great for a few days rest half way through out our around France. The 48 steps to the flat plus 18 to the bedrooms will keep you fit! Enjoyed Carcassone and La Cite. A great stay!”

“Tolle Unterkunft! Sehr gute Ausstattung (u.a. mit hochwertigen Geräten). Schöner Garten, Grill, Jacuzzi. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieter, von denen wir Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche erhalten haben. Unser Hund war sehr willkommen. Hugues, der Vermieter spricht sehr gut Deutsch. Bei dem doch sehr warmen Wetter, war der Pool vor der Haustür ideal. Aussicht vom Pool und vom Esstisch auf die bei Dunkelheit erleuchtete Cité ist wunderschön.
